Share/Save/Bookmark A media personality recently fingered by our wags for his habit of picking up young girls and even some peoples' wives from a Nairobi estate for nights of wining and dining has now opted to leave behind his very noticeable Mercedes Benz. Instead, he has been making his forays into the estate in a nondescript Toyota Vitz and using intermediaries to deliver messages to the girl or woman he wants to date.

Nairobi Kaloleni residents who recently forked out close to Sh1 million for the purchase and installation of new water meters were overjoyed when the water supply resumed. They are now a disconsolate lot after the water supply was abruptly disconnected without any explanation. The residents are the victims of a long-running wrangle involving the Nairobi Water Company, the area MP Gideon Mbuvi Sonko and former area MP Reuben Ndolo, who is chairman of Athi Water Board, and Mayor George Aladwa who is the area councillor.

The public in Kisii are concerned that their complaint about a local administrator who has colluded with civic leaders to 'grab' public land is not being taken seriously. The residents have filed a complaint with the police and the local KACC office. They claim the man and his cronies have already disposed of the land for Sh1 million!

There was a near-fight between a diplomat from Western Kenya and a local MP when the diplomat mobilised women in Ikolomani to vote for  Bonny Khalwale. The MP was angry because that cost his preferred candidate the seat.
