Former prime minister Raila Odinga leaves the country this evening for the United Kingdom where he will on Tuesday address the third 'Times CEO Summit Africa' in London.
The two-day summit, which starts from Monday April 29 to 30, 2013 will bring together the chairpersons and chief executives of businesses and international investors in Africa.
"Mr Odinga will address a dinner gathering of business and political leaders focusing on the realities of doing business in the continent, including risks and opportunities," said a statement from Odinga's spokesperson Denis Onyango.
He will also address Kenya’s democratic transformation, the recent elections and the country’s readiness for business with the world.
The summit has been hosted by the UK’s ‘The Times Newspaper’ since 2011 and focuses on the debate around Africa’s growth agenda and potential.
The two-day summit will be a mixture of a keynote speech and panel sessions.
Other than dinner address, Mr Odinga will participate in two panel discussions: Things Fall Apart: are the risks of doing business in Africa increasing?
