West Mugirango MP James Gesami has been cleared of corruption charges by a Kisumu court Friday.
Kisumu senior principal magistrate Ezra Awino acquitted Mr Gesami saying there was insufficient evidence to sustain the charges.
Dr Gesami had been accused of misusing the West Mugirango Constituency Development Fund (CDF) .
He stepped down as Public Health and Sanitation Assistant minister to fight the charges.
The acquittal opens the door to his return to government.
