Raila opens up on Diaspora and national issues in Irving, Texas
The former Prime Minister of Kenya Mr Raila Odinga has said that the Uhuru government is not giving Diaspora issues the seriousness they deserve. He pointed as the appointment of Mr Dennis Itumbi as the Director Digital, New Media and Diaspora as proof of this. In this interview, he responds to a series of hard hitting statements by the government and also states his case as to why the Uhuru Govt should treat him as they treat former President Mwai Kibaki. He also gives his take on the Uhuru Government laptop project.
Mr Odinga is in Irving, Texas alongside several CORD governors attending the Bi-National Governors Summit.
