The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission cannot be entrusted with overseeing the next general elections, Cord leader Raila Odinga has said.
According to Mr Odinga, some members of the IEBC have lost credibility in the eyes of Kenyans.
He said there is also need for an independent Judiciary composed of men and women of integrity if they are to regain confidence for election disputes.
"Cord accepted the Supreme Court Ruling because its verdict is final but did not agree with it," he said at the London Russel Hotel on Wednesday.
He added that that there is need for full implementation of the devolved system of government as a panacea to the imperial Presidency that Kenya has witnessed in the past.
His former campaign manager Eliud Owalo, said both Cord constituent parties will be strengthened in readiness for the next elections.
