From Harvard, to Penn State, to Oxford, they're all very learned, with exception of one or two.
The only Kenyan University appearing on the CVs of the 16 nominees is University of Nairobi. This has left many Kenyans wondering what is the place of the other Universities in the country.
However, there may be an honest reason for this.
Unlike University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University and a few others, most of the current universities have been university colleges until recently. Others like KU, have only recently started diversifying from teaching courses. So, it will probably take a few more years before we see a Masinde Muliro University educated cabinet secretary, or one completely educated in Kenya.
