You can also visit the IEBC website http://vote.iebc.or.ke and key in the ID or passport number to access your details, Ms Mutemi said.
The name of the voter, county, constituency, ward and station in which they areregistered will be displayed in any of the platforms one opts to use.
Ms Mutemi asked voters to visit their polling stations in case the details supplied were wrong.
The voter register will be open for scrutiny for two weeks, after a month-longregistration that closed on December 18 last year.
IEBC chairman Ahmed Issack Hassan said the commission opted to issue an SMS number for checking voter details after they found out that 60 per cent preferredthis method while only 10-15 per cent would go to voter centre to verify the information.
The final voters’ list will also be made accessible to the public on the IEBC website and available to political parties.
