Thursday, the 15th of November 2012 -The Kenyan DAILY POST has learnt that Kiraitu Murungi’s Alliance Party of Kenya (APK), popularly known as the ‘Mbus party’ due to its symbol, is poised to make ‘a major announcement’ tomorrow at 10:00 A.M.
The last time APK made a big fuss about an announcement like this was when it made public its decision not to front a Presidential candidate but to instead back Uhuru Kenyatta of TNA.
There is no credible information on what tomorrow’s ‘major announcement’ is all about but word is that Kairaitu has taken a lot of flack in his party for forcing its aspirants go through the TNA nomination process which is already heaving under the weight of aspirants from parties like PNU.
So our prediction? Kiraiti will say that although APK still backs Uhuru, the party will be fielding its own candidates for the various other posts at the next polls.
