Monday October 29,2012 - It seems troubles in Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) are deepening day by day after DAILY POST established that staff at ODM Secretariat at Orange House are today expected to go slow over what they termed as disparities in the salaries and allowances they receive.
This is after comparing their earning with those being paid to their colleagues working at the Raila Odinga Presidential Campaign Secretariat.
Orange House staff claim their counterparts at the Eliud Owalo - led Secretariat earn three times more yet the (Orange House) staff do the “donkey work”
The Orange House staffs have been pushing head of secretariat Janet Ong’era and party Secretary General Anyang Nyong’o to address the issue without success. They now want to go on strike for them to be heard.
