MUDAVADI’s pointman hospitalized after beating from ODM councillors

Wednesday August16, 2012 - Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi’s chief campaign strategist is recuperating at Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi after he was severely beaten by ODM Councillors in Nairobi.

JJ Bukatchi who is also a Councillor in Nairobi, sustained injuries on the chest and broke a rib during councilors elections held on Wednesday.

Speaking from his hospital bed on Thursday, Bukatchi alleged that ODM councilors Jack Olonde, Michael Oganda and Mohammed Gore ganged up against because he is in UDF.

He also alleged that the three took away his mobile phone and they stole Sh 10,000 cash in his pocket.

The elections which were held at City Hall were dismissed by town clerk Roba Duba after the fracas.
