Just like RAILA, RUTO will host Sh 100,000 per plate DINNER even in KISUMU

Wednesday August 22, 2012 - Just like a replicate of what his former boss did, Eldoret North MP William Ruto will host a Sh 100,000 per plate dinner to raise funds for his presidential campaigns.

United Republican Party’s Election Committee on Tuesday agreed to host the dinner targeting at least Sh 30 million at a Nairobi hotel, next month.

Similar dinners will be held in Nakuru, Mombasa, Eldoret and Kisumu.

Last month, Narc Kenya Chairperson Martha Karua hosted a Sh 10,000-a- plate dinner while Prime Minister Raila Odinga hosted one in July priced at Sh 100,000 a plate.

Other presidential aspirants who are expected to host fundraising dinners in coming weeks are; Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Prof James Ole Kiyiapi.
