Former ODM man clinches Kajiado nomination on TNA and for Kangema.........

Thursday August 16, 2012 - Tirus Ngahu and Moses Ole Sakuda are The National Alliance (TNA) party ticket candidates for the by-election of Kangema and Kajiado North respectively.
Ngahu, who is a friend to the late Kangema MP John Michuki, garnered 4,820 votes to defeat six other candidates who were contesting for the TNA ticket to use in the by-election scheduled for September 17.
Duncan Mwangi came in second with 3,283 votes while Muturi Kigano came third with 2,332 votes, while Ann Wangare Kirima was fourth after garnering 1,714 votes.
The Kangema parliamentary seat fell vacant following the death of former Environment Minister John Njoroge Michuki who died after a short illness in February.
In Kajiado North, Moses ole Sakuda clinched the nomination by garnering 16,130 votes to defeat his closest rival Francis Parsimei who came second with 1,677. Ole Sakuda was in ODM in 2007 but opted to go for the seat on a TNA ticket for reasons better known to him
The Kajiado North parliamentary seat fell vacant following the death of Internal Security Minister Prof George Saitoti on June 10 following a helicopter crash.
