The LOUIS OTIENO saga: Chepchumba was murdered

Monday, the 30^th of July 2012 - The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Keriako Tobiko has today told a Nairobi court that Careen Chepchumba, the Kenya Power employee whose suspicious death led to fingers being pointed at former anchor Louis Otieno, was murdered.

The DPP said that police investigations had found that the cause of Chepchumba’s death was strangulation.

Mr Tobiko however moved clearly to clear Mr Otieno of any involvement in the murder since according to him the evidence;

“Does not connect any identified person or group of persons”

The case continues.
