Thursday July 19, 2012 - Laikipia East MP Mwangi Kiunjuri has told Prime Minister Raila Odinga to defend himself against accusations leveled against him by Miguna Miguna instead of relaying information through his foot soldiers.
Speaking at the Central Kenya leaders forum in Nairobi, Kiunjuri observed that the PM’s former adviser Miguna Miguna laid bare alleged corrupt operations and vices in Raila’s office, and advised that the issues raised should be probed.
Kiunjuri who is also Public Works Assistant Minister, said leaders allied to President Kibaki’s side of the government were aware of the ills bedevilling the PM’s office, but lacked ways of countering them.
“The information is now in the public court and the ball has been thrown back to the government,”Kiunjuri said.
“The PM and ODM are now naked, and it now up to Kenyans to decide whether they will follow a road of corruption or not. The duel is cast,” he added.
