2012 three horse race taking shape

A three horse race is beginning to shape up ahead of next year’s general elections pitting Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto.
Over 50 MPs are now pushing the Eldoret North MP William Ruto  to intensify his campaigns within the G7 alliance where he stands a better chance of emerging victorious.
On Sunday Ruto took his campaign to Budalangi where he called Uhuru to back his detailing how the Kalenjin community supported him in 2002.
“My friend Uhuru should now support me.I supported him in 2002 and it is time for him to reciprocate,”Ruto said.
Ruto,Eugine Wamalwa and Chirau Mwakwere are out form a third force outside the PNU alliance that will face Uhuru Kenyatta.
In Budalangi Ruto was accompanied by Wamalwa and Turkana Central MP Ekwe Ethuro in the push a for a third force.
Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka who is also in the race for  the G7 ticket was in parts of Rift Valley to drum up support for his cause.
“This time I will not just run but I will run to win,”Kalonzo declared.
Kalonzo who has no substantial support of his own is underated among the G7 top guns following his fense sitting nature and opportunistic style.
“Wachana na Kalonzo,he cant go far,he will be defeated,”declared a top G7 leader
