Ruto says he will remain in The Hague for full hearing

ELDORET North MP William Ruto on Wednesday said he is ready to stay at the Hague to follow his case to the end as demanded by the International Criminals Courts.
Ruto said he had looked at the two options given by the court and had resolved to stay and and follow his case till mid this month.
The decision now means that the former Higher Education minster will be out of the political scene for two weeks, the duration the case he is facing in The Hague will take.
“I had two options and I have decided to take my time, stay on and follow my case,”Ruto said.
The Pretrial Chamber judge Ekaterina Trendifilova had ordered Mr. Ruto to decide whether he wanted to follow the case full time or once and not the two options together.
Ruto is in The Hague to for the confirmation hearing of a case in which together with radio presenter Joshua Sang and former Minister Henry Kosgey they have been accused of being criminally liable for the post election violence in which 1,300 people lost their lives.
Ruto,Sang and Kosgey will have their cases coming up starting Thursday morning. All of them are already at The Hague for their cases.
