The VP was ready to face off with other presidential hopefuls to field one flag bearer, Mr Kaplich Barsito said.
“Mr Musyoka has always been democratic and he is ready to support whoever wins a run-off.”
Speaking on Friday during a live morning interview with Kass FM, Mr Barsito assured the Kalenjin community that the Vice-President had their welfare at heart.
He dismissed claims that the community has been shortchanged in the allocation of ministerial posts, saying Kacheliba MP Samuel Poghisio was appointed Information and Communications minister.
There have been claims that Mr Musyoka wants to bank on cases facing Eldoret North MP William Ruto and Finance minister Uhuru Kenyatta at The Hague to ascend to the presidency.
Claims are also rife that the VP sent emissaries to Prime Minister Raila Odinga seeking a political alliance ahead of 2012, but his allies dismissed them as ODM’s propaganda to rock the alliance.
