Speaking to Kenyaradarlive Mr. Wamalwa dismissed  the allegations as mere propaganda by Wetangula.
Wamalwa said he is not bitter that President Kibaki declined to name him into the cabinet saying that he was interested in President Kibaki’s seat and not Wetangula’s.
“I am keener on the President’s  seat and not Wetangula’s so he should stop wasting his time calling my name here and there,”Wamalwa said.
The MP said that he has not been preoccupied by the issues regarding the cabinet and told Wetangula to concentrate on his own problems without dragging his name unto it.
“The people of this country know very well that Wamalwa wants to become President. I have never gone round telling people that I want to be minister, “the MP said.
Several allies of the Foreign Affairs minister have been accusing Wamalwa of trying to undermine Wetangula by inciting MPs against him.
Wamalwa who is a member of the Foreign Relations committee failed to defend Wetangula when he was accused of being behind the Sh 1.6 billion Japanese embassy scandal.
Now MPs led by Ikolomani’s Bonny Khalwale are this week planning to censor the minister to force President Kibaki to eject him from the cabinet.
This week on Wednesday the Prime Minister Raila Odinga is expected to explain to parliament the circumstances that led to Wetanguala’s return to the cabinet.
