During post game interviews last night, when asked why their team seemed to have “no answer for Shaun Livingston,” the Cleveland Cavaliers were unable to answer.
“The gameplan was simple: stop the Splash Brothers. Well, we did that, but apparently they have other players,” said LeBron James.
Despite recognizing that he was indeed a person, and furthermore a player on the opposing team, the Cavs appeared confused by every move the Livingston made. The reserve guard scored a team high 20 points in an uncharacteristic game one that saw Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in a sort of sleepwalking state.
“We’d always heard that Shaun Livingston was good at basketball and stuff, we just assumed it was a myth,” remarked Cavs coach Tyronn Lue. “Our entire focus moving forward will be to shut down Shaun Livingston. That should lock up this series.”
