Sonko posts Nairobi Governor bid in 14 languages

Nairobi Senator has officially declared his interest to vie for the seat of Nairobi Governor.
In a post on his Facebook page on Monday, the Senator posted the message n 14 Kenyan languages .
Sonko called on the people to register as voters in large numbers to vote in the 2017 elections.
“I'm also in the Nairobi Governors race 2017 so be ready for change by registering in large numbers,” the message read.
It was posted in Kiswahili, Kisii, Kamba, Kikuyu, Luo, Luhya, Embu, Maasai, Somali, Hindu, Gujarati and Meru languages.
The Nairobi Senator is the third person to officially declare he will be in the race to oust the incumbent Governor Evans Kidero.
Nominated MP Johnson Sakaja and Former Devolution CS Anne Waiguru also declared their bid in a Jubilee meeting on Monday.
Sonko graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration enrolled at Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) in 2013 fulfilling the constitutional requirement to have a degree from a recognized university to be an eligible candidate for the office.
