Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile had an interesting New Year message for former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka. On his Facebook page, Kalembe told Kalonzo he has forgiven him for "what you did to me in your Mwingi political zone." He went on to say that the Wiper leader did the same to Mwingi North MP John Munuve, who was chased from a rally attended by Kalonzo recently. "(This) is an unforgivable sin. Even God will not forgive you. As a person and leader, do you expect the same treatment in other people's zones or you think you are special in that field?" Kalembe wrote. He claimed Kalonzo told him once that former President Mwai Kibaki would die in less than three months after the launch of the EAC. "Do you remember convincing me from a lawyer's point of view that Uhuru and Ruto will be jailed by the ICC in the Hague? Ukichimbia mtu kaburi Chimba fupi.... unaeza jikuta ndani!!! I wish you a happy new year and peaceful retirement and keep peace," Kalembe wrote.

Three Jubilee politicians who were sharing a New Year's Eve drink at a Nairobi hotel were overheard saying they would "deal" with Cord leader Raila Odinga in a manner he doesn't expect in 2016. They were commenting after receiving a copy of Raila's New Year message, where he said one of his commitments in 2016 would be to unearth scandals within Jubilee. "BAT is just a tip of the iceberg. If Tinga thinks he has a lot to unearth, he should know we even have more dirt on him than anyone else," one of the politician who was in ODM before 2013 said.

A resident of Kiambu has accused officers at Kamukunji and Central police stations in Nairobi of being at the beck and call of a powerful Asian family that operates a chain of businesses in Parklands. The family assaulted the man when he visited their offices to demand a refund of his money after a business deal between him and the family fell through. In spite of getting a P3 form, the police have in the last one year refused to arrest members of the family who assaulted the man. Complaint letters to the Office of the Inspector General have been ignored by the junior officers. What is worrying the man is that officers and Parklands, Kamukunji or even Central stations have refused to record his complaint in the occurrence book.
