Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton welcomed a baby boy into the world on Christmas Eve — and the name he and girlfriend Kia Proctor "chose" will blow you away! The baby name Cam, 26, and Kia, 27, picked was ... Chosen! Chosen Sebastian Newton, to be exact, reports The Charlotte Observer. And he's a hefty little guy, weighing in at 9 pounds, 6 ounces. Sounds like he has what it takes to follow in Dad's footsteps already! "My longtime girlfriend and I were extremely blessed to have a son last week. Our family is excited and thank you all for the well wishes!" Cam tweeted. "I’ve been quiet about this because I didn’t want to create a distraction for my team and appreciate the privacy in this.
