I want to take this opportunity to wish you fellow Kenyans prosperity, joy and endless blessing from our Almighty God in the new year 2014.
I sincerely hope the new year will bring serious efforts at fighting poverty and upholding the need to have constitutionalism sink in our psyche as a nation under the new constitution.
2014 should be the year of slaying negative ethnicity and embracing oneness and forgive each to achieve cohesion and move forward together as a united country.
As CORD coalition and the opposition we will keep the jubilee government on check to deliver the promises they made to Kenyans and pressure them to uphold nationalism in their day to day duties.
The infringement of basic rights such as media freedom are retrogressive of the gains enshrined in the constitution which if fully implemented to the letter and spirit, Kenya will be able to grow in leaps and bounds.
