Tigania East MP Mpuru Aburi has been living large and making even bigger promises. The man, who has since last year opted to use a chopper to reach his constituents has been making several promises of multimillion shilling development projects which will be undertaken by the Chinese. A loser in the last presidential elections who is known for his gregarious manner has become introverted and prefers to keep to himself even when he is with his close associates. Much to their chagrin and disappointment, even before the policemen could process the businessman, they got a call from their boss who ordered them to immediately release the man and not to file any report in the station's Occurrence Book!

A former managing director of a well known government agency has shocked the family of a prominent personality who was buried a few days ago.  The day after the burial, the former MD called on the grieving widow and told her he wanted to discuss how her late husband's property and other assets should be shared. The ex-MD told the widow that since he was her late husband's best friend, he was best placed to administer the estate and oversee how it will be shared. The widow was stunned into silence by the man's affront. It took her brothers's intervention to chase the ex-MD away. Little did the man realize that his friend had before his death, already prepared a will bequeathing his assets.
