President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto will tomorrow 7th September kick-off the closure of IDP camps and launch the Cash Payment Programme for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
The President and Deputy President will commence the exercise in Mau Forest at Kapkembu Camp at 9.00 a.m and Kiptororo Camp at 10.30 a.m.
Thereafter, the President and his deputy will undertake a similar exercise at Naka Camp in Eldoret at 12.00 p.m and Mai Mahiu Camp at 15.00 p.m.
Before proceeding to Mai Mahiu at 15.00 p.m, the President and Deputy President are expected to attend the homecoming of Senator Murkomen and Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich in Keiyo.
