Some five CORD MPS were overheard saying they would accompany Deputy President William Ruto when he goes to the Hague for his trial so that they can guarantee their people get goodies from the jubilee government. They said they cannot allow themselves to be kept in the 'political cold' if they want their regions to benefit front the government's development programs. “These Raila issues are at times boring. We cannot just be opposing everything about the Jubilee government. We need to be in government” one of them said.

The personal assistant to one of the governors was embarrassed and taken aback when an Iranian investor berated him for demanding 'something small' to be able to book an appointment with the governor. It seems the incident with the Iranian investor is not an isolated case. The PA has allegedly been demanding 'access fees' from anyone who wants to meet with the governor.According to his friends, the PA has told them that it his time to eat.

State House security chiefs in Mombasa were caught off guard when several politicians exchanged blows at Khadija grounds last Friday in the presence of President Uhuru Kenyatta , deputy president William Ruto,Cabinet secretaries and senior police chiefs. This happened when some politicians started equating leadership to academic qualifications. The security chiefs want those involved during the scuffle to be paraded in front of President Uhuru Kenyatta and barred from attending any State House functions.
