Arrest warrant issued against former MP

A Nyeri court on Wednesday issued a warrant of arrest against former Gatundu North MP Clement Waibara.

Senior Resident Magistrate Joan Wambilyanga issued the warrant after Waibara failed to appear for the mention of his conspiracy to kill case.

The one term MP was expected to present his submissions in a case where he is accused of conspiring to kill Bernard Chege Mburu, between April 1, 2010, and March 31, of the same year.
