RAILA ODINGA’s hecklers who BOOED him during a CORD rally ACQUITTED by a Embu court




Friday, the 1st of March 2013 - News just in indicates that an Embu court has today acquitted 14 young men who had been charged with attempting to disrupt a rally by Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) flag bearer Raila Odinga a fortnight ago.

While dismissing the charges against the 14 accused, Senior principal Magistrate Paul Biwott said that the prosecution had been unable to prove its case against accused.

The incident in Embu made national news at the time since it was the first time that a rally by a major Presidential candidate had been disrupted in such a fashion in this election cycle.
