Karua set to name running mate

Narc-Kenya presidential aspirant Martha Karua is set to name her running mate once her party officially nominates her as the flag bearer next week.
Karua claimed that the country has experienced more corruption and impunity levels this regime than any other during the coalition government.
She alleged that during the Moi era whenever corruption cartels were unearthed, they would retreat speedily.
"But look at those implicated in corruption scandals under the Coalition government, the cartels come out to justify their illegal deeds and even dig in their positions and keep on intimidating those raising a red flag, "she claimed.
Karua said corruption in the coalition had taken Kenyans aback even after spirited efforts to fight the vice.
The former Justice Minister cited the NSSF scandal where those implicated just kept digging in and the matter died off as if nothing had happened.
"You remember even the hiring of the NSSF Chief Executive Officer; the whole issue was a well choreographed drama by the corrupt cartels to ensure  the impunity continued" She said.
Karua was addressing the press moments after attending a church service   at her rural Kimunye market home on Sunday.
At the same time, Karua has decried insecurity in various parts of the Country especially the recent tragic fire in Mathare in Nairobi County.
