Planning assistant minister Peter Kenneth launched his bid for the presidency on Sunday at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC).
The Gatanga MP will be running for the country's top office through the Kenya National Congress (KNC) party whose slogan is ‘Tunawesmake (Sheng for ‘We can make it')".
Kenneth pledged to transform education, health, security, and infrastructure if elected president.
He promised to prioritize the contruction of at least one polytechnic and a referral hospital in each County.
The presidential candidate also pledged to instil discipline in the use of taxpayers money for maximum production. Kennneth said he will ensure full implementation of the constitution.
Those who graced the launch include Planning Minister Wycliffe Oparanya, Local Government minister Paul Otuoma and the Germany ambassador to Kenya Margit Hell Wig-Botte.
