Mudavadi said propaganda against him will not achieve anything as long as the Kenyan people want him to lead them in a new era of stability as a unified nation. "I have been branded a Raila, G7, Moi and now Kibaki project. This is an acknowledgement that I am a Kenyan project", he said. Mudavadi was responding to  a question on recurring slander that he is variously a project of some group or other during a K24 TV interview on the anniversary of the National Accord due Tuesday February 28, 2012. Mudavadi said the next era of Kenyan politics required soberness to achieve the goals of trhe National Accord. "Leadership of chest-thumbing and retribution we have seen so far will not take this country anywhere' he said adding that Accord goals can only be achieved under a sober leadership that he intends to provide.
