The suspension of Miguna Miguna as Prime Minister Raila Odinga's advisor has been lifted.
Mr Miguna will resume his role as Mr Odinga's advisor on coalition matters with immediate effect after investigations into alleged misconduct against him were completed.
"The investigations into allegations of misconduct against Mr Miguna Miguna have now been completed.
"Consequently, I have the honour to convey the decision of the Rt. Hon. Raila A Odinga, EGH MP Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya to lift the suspension of Mr Miguna Miguna from his duties," said Mr Odinga's chief of staff Caroli Omondi in a statement.
The statement added that Mr Miguna will be paid "his outstanding salary and allowances in full".
"All pending judicial proceedings on this matter stand, subject to the necessary notification to the courts, terminated forthwith. Other aspects of this matter will be dealt with internally in accordance with the established rules and procedures on human resource management of the Public Service," Mr Omondi said.
