ODM SALUTES KENYANS AS EASTER APPROACHES

The Orange Democratic Movement Party –ODM is sending a message of goodwill to all its party members, supporters and Kenyans at large as Christians all over the World marks the death of Jesus Christ which begins tomorrow. Easter is the day that Christians remember the crucification of Jesus Christ who died for the sins of all. The ODM Leadership of the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya, Deputy Party Leader the Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Government, the Party Secretariat headed by Secretary General Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o and the Executive Director Ms. Janet Ong’era, the entire Membership of the Party and supporters wish you all a Happy Easter Holiday.
Below is the Easter message by the Secretary General Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o.
“Dear all, as Easter approaches, let’s remember why Jesus was crucified. For honesty, defence of the poor, speaking truth to power, healing the sick, providing food for the hungry poor & fighting against social injustice & political oppression. The ODM must defend & promote these values by ensuring the Constitution is implemented, IDPs resettled & the poor cushioned against the current economic crisis”.
