Changamwe MP Ramadhan Kajembe was spotted at Mama Ngina Drive in Mombasa on Tuesday at around 4pm where he had gone to see for himself the kind of crowd that his archrival for the Mombasa governor's seat had drawn. Najib Balala was giving out tuk-tuks to the 'Wazee wa Mtaa' (community leaders). We are told Kajembe parked his car at a distance from where the function was going on and was able to monitor the rally from behind the tinted windows of his vehicle. He stayed there until the function was almost over.

An MP from North Eastern, who was among those who travelled to The Hague, wants to meet the university students from his region who have accused him of wasting money on the trip when his constituents are starving. Youth leaders from his constituency vowed not to re-elect him in 2012 and the elders are considering imposing a fine against the man for supporting the Ocampo Six.

A Cabinet minister surprised many including his own staff when he pleaded ignorance to the fact that his permanent secretary had gone on maternity leave. The man seemed to be taken aback when his secretary informed him that the PS was on maternity leave. He has now decided to make up for his 'ignorance' by visiting the PS at home with a substantial gift for the newborn baby.

Conspiracy theorists are speculating Tourism minister Najib Balala may have already registered the party under which the G7 including Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto may run in the 2012 presidential race. They say the Mvita MP has been tasked to work under the radar at registering the party.
