Referendum Security
Just a day to the referendum, security has been beefed up around the country to take care of any eventualities. About 15,000 officers have been deployed in areas perceived to be hot spots in the expansive Rift Valley Province. Rift Valley Provincial Commissioner Osman Warfa has told residents to vote freely as the areas concerned were on the spotlight with the security personnel. Similar assurance also came from Nairobi PC Mwangi Ndirangu and AP Commandant Kinuthia Mbugua who visited the areas
