Now, should the proposed constitution be endorsed by Kenyans on August 4th, how will the document be protected from alterations and changes not sanctioned by the populace and how will the interest of the Kenyan people in getting necessary amendments be taken care of? There are clauses within the document that reiterate its superior status and there are avenues through which amendments may be carried out in the future.
