FIRE NONE
No minister should be fired from the Cabinet for their views on the draft constitution, Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka has said.
The VP said drastic action against those opposed to the draft constitution would only harden attitudes and breed intolerance.
“Kenyans should talk freely about the constitution,” he said during the signing of a contract between Kenya Scouts Association and Royal Media Services at his Jogoo House offices.
He was reacting to comments made by Central Organisation of Trade Unions (Cotu) secretary-general Francis Atwoli, who had proposed that ministers opposed to the draft be sacked.
