OMENA CAUGHT

The Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC) has arrested the director of Matuga Government Training Institute over alleged corruption at the institute.

The director Nicholas Jaswa Ngombo will be arraigned at the Anti-Corruption Court in Mombasa on Wednesday to face two counts of corruption related charges.

The Commission says it started investigations into the matter last year and opened a file in August following allegations of abuse of office.

The Attorney General Monday approved the recommendations to charge Ngombo with corruption.

The Director is currently in police custody and the Commission says it will also file civil suits to recover Ksh.1.15million which was misappropriated.
