Gitau's murder - foul play

Paul Muite alleges foul play in the recent murder of the Kenya National Youth Alliance chairman Njuguna Gitau Njuguna.

Muite claims there is a ploy by police to wipe out those perceived to be mungiki leaders. Police commissioner Mathew Iteere has however denied police involvement in the murder.

Speaking when he presented a petition to the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights for forwarding to ICC prosecutor Louis Moreno Ocampo, Muite claimed several youth from Mt Kenya had been executed after being branded as mungiki followers.

Muite said that he too had been informed by Njuguna Gitau before his death that members of the kwekwe squad had threatened him.
