BISHOP John Kivuli II of the church in Vihiga county where four died in factional clashes on August 9 has been fined a bull and two sheep.
In a press statement on Thursday, Tiriki Union East Africa chairman Javan Bulemi also fined Kivuli’s rival Bishop Evans Chadiva one bull and four he-goats.
“I am the aggrieved person. My house was burnt and my wife stripped naked in the church. So why am I being fined?” Kivuli told the Star on the phone.
Chadiva was unavailable for comment.
The two leaders of African Israel Church Nineve were accused of shedding blood on Tiriki land during circumcision month.
