Statehouse has today released a photo of Raila Odinga meeting Obama in Statehouse Nairobi however still holds back other Photos of Obama and Raila taken while holding a bilateral.
Supporters of Raila have in the past week trolled Statehouse Media team for holding back amazing photos taken of President Obama and opposition chief Raila Odinga.
The biggest causality is deputy President William Ruto who supporters now believe was set up for humiliation by top statehouse operatives. To-date only three photos of Ruto are in public dormain where he is seen greeting President Obama.
Today Friday 7th August, Statehouse director of new media and Facebook magician Dennis Itumbi has released a few photos of Raila, Martha Karua and Moses Wetangula. The supporters have criticized the photos released by Itumbi terming them a drop in the ocean>> they want all Photos released!
Rift Valley MPs have accused President Uhuru’s media handlers of wilfully hiding photos of Deputy President William Ruto and US President Barack Obama.
The MPs also claimed state house hid the photos of meeting between President Obama and Opposition leader Raila Odinga, despite being the only known entity who was allowed access to the meetings in order to take photos ‘on behalf of Kenya’.
For DP Ruto, the MPs allege a well choreographed manoeuvre to lock the DP out of critical meetings between the Kenya government and the US leader. For the first time, the MPs reveal the DP had to force himself in some of the meetings where the sitting arrangement completely omitted his participation.
Chairs had to be pulled to accommodate him.
“From the beginning, we knew what was going on. We were well aware that a group of people wanted to prevent the DP from meeting Obama. It was an attempt to humiliate the DP,” said Marakwet East MP, Kangogo Bowen.
