It took Donald Trump to get David Letterman back into show business. Letterman crashed a Steve Martin/Martin Short performance on Friday night in San Antonio, Texas, to read one of his top-10 lists, this one devoted to Donald Trump.
Letterman, bearded and spunky (if you ever wanted to hear him curse, he comes pretty close here), told the cheering crowd that as soon as he heard about Trump’s Presidential bid, he realized, “I have made the biggest mistake of my life.” Then he launched into his list, below.
Some list items included: “He wants to build a wall? How about building a wall around that thing on his head!” “Donald Trump weighs 240 pounds; 250 with cologne.” “That thing on his head is free-range.” And “Donald Trump has pissed off so many Mexicans he’s starring in a new movie called No Amigos” — a nod to Martin and Short’s cult comedy Three Amigos.
