Raila meets Kenyans in Jersey City

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is scheduled to hold talks with senior American officials and businesspeople as he continues his tour of the country.
He is scheduled to hold talks with the second-highest-ranking State Department official, Deputy Secretary of State William Burns today.
According to Kenya’s ambassador to the US Elkanah Odembo, Secretary of State John Kerry, will be out of town on Tuesday and asked the Deputy Secretary to meet with Mr Odinga.
He has also been invited to take part in a discussion on Tuesday organised by a group of US executives who have investments in Africa.
The ODM leader will also speak on the achievements and challenges Africa has faced in the 50 years since it got its independence at the Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars.
Mr Odinga was to meet with the mayor of Philadelphia in the East Coast, where he and his wife, Ida, attended the graduation of their daughter, Winnie, on Saturday.
