Kenyan Dies in car crash in Toronto Canada

Johnstone Kwendo Ndugu of Scarborough Ontario was 57 years old when he passed away, Saturday night, April 6th 2013 approximately 11pm when he was involved in a single car crash at Whites Road and Hwy 401 in Township of Pickering. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Kwendo as everyone fondly referred to him was born in Bunyore East in Vihiga District, Western Province in Kenya, and was the son of Mrs. Efeli Ongachi Ndugu and the late Mr. Jaston Efedha Ndugu. He was a teacher at Salvation Army Thika School for the Blind and a choir director at the school and at Thika Corps from 1983 – 2000, when he migrated to Canada with his family.
He is survived by his wife Angela Njagi-Kwendo and children: Eric, Sammy, David, Alice, Jane, Roseanne, Jennifer and Esther. He was also dad to Leanna, Kayla, Tashika and Tashana. He is also survived by his brother Stanley; sisters Susie, Truphena, nieces and nephews, alongside several extended family. He was predeceased by his late wife Margaret Kwendo and sister Truphosa.
There will be two memorial services at 10am and 2pm on Saturday April 13th, 2013 at the Salvation Army Westhill Citadel in Scarborough, 305 Morrish Rd,
