In an effort to keep his job, the managing director of a state technical institution has been working round the clock hoping to catch the attention of the Cabinet secretary responsible so that he can have his term extended. The man is reported to have recently withdrawn Sh100 million from the institution’s fixed deposit account to get the support of the incumbent minister who spurned his efforts to 'persuade' him to extend his term. Just in the past week, the man claimed Sh600,000 for unexplained arrears and has vowed to 'finish' all those opposed to his leadership if the Jubilee administration re-appoint him.
