Monday March 18, 2013 - Former Law Society of Kenya Chairman Ahmednassir Abdullahi has sensationally stated that CORD petition at the Supreme Court does not hold any water and it will be dismissed after the Pre-Trial hearing.
On his titter account on Saturday, Ahmednassir who is one of the best legal minds in Kenya said the evidence presented by CORD lawyers does not hold any water to convince the jury to nullify the election of President –elect Uhuru Kenyatta as the fourth President of Kenya.
He said CORD leaders should have consulted well before filling the petition since it was half baked and it is a matter of time before the case is dismissed on technical grounds.
Here are some of his tweets.
Ahmednasir #The cord petition to the Supreme Court reads like surrender...the white flag has been raised! the biggest complaint...voter registration!!!
Ahmednasir# I have seen, read and understood the 32 page petition filed at Supreme Court by Cord. One word to describe it...underwhelming!
Also on his usual Sunday column on Sunday Nation, Ahmednassir termed CORD leaders as a bunch of Kenyans who are desperate to assume leadership at any cost.
