Attention is now shifting to the positions of speakers of the National Assembly and the senate as the country prepares to swear-in new members of the bi-cameral parliament. Leaders within the Jubilee coalition which will nominate the speakers of the two houses on the strength of their numbers, are locked in intense lobbying with the battle pitting elected members and their allies who lost out during last week's election.
