The possible issues likely to be raised in presidential election petitions on Saturday may include (but are not limited to):
1) Widespread failure of the electronic voter identification system (poll-books) which was meant to prevent voter fraud on Election Day.
2) Errors in issuance of ballot papers for the presidential race. The inclusion of any votes not stamped by IEBC clerks among rejected votes used in the tally.
3) Large number of rejected votes that might have been created by ballot papers from the five other elections being placed in the presidential ballot box.
4) The failure of presiding officers to send results electronically as required by law and/or any errors they may have made filling out Forms 34 and 35.
5) Alleged announcement of figures at the national tallying centre that differ greatly from those announced at the county polling and tallying centres.
