UHURU Vs RAILA’s LAND debate is IMPORTANT ….. CORD will NOT keep quiet - KALONZO

Tuesday February 12, 2013 - CORD brigade led by Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka have said they will not keep off from the land issue since it is a matter of national importance.

Addressing a series of rallies in Taita Taveta County on Tuesday, Kalonzo said the land issue is so controversial that CORD leaders cannot keep quiet on the matter.

Kalonzo said the issue of the squatters in the Taita Taveta District will be a thing of the past when Prime Minister Raila Odinga forms the government on March 5th.

“The CORD government will provide a lasting solution to the thorny land issue that has persisted in the country for so long,” the VP said.

“Once we take over the government we will deal with the issue once and for all,” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo was accompanied by Cabinet ministers James Orengo (Lands), Dan Mwazo Tourism, Dalmas Otieno (Public Service) and Henry Kosgei.
