Prime Minister Raila Odinga is expected to tour Tana River County in the Coast as he continues with campaigns for the Coalitions for Reforms and Democracy (Cord).
The PM will hold mini barazas in Hola and Bura, and later head to Garsen where he will hold a rally and later proceed to Lamu.
His visit to the Tana River comes after a month after fresh tribal skirmishes emerged, where people were massacred and others displaced owing to various differences in politics and fight for resources.
The PM will be expected to address the land problem, even though the Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo and the National Integration and Cohesion Commission (NCIC) have cautioned politicians against using the emotive issue of land in their campaigns.
Mr Kimaiyo has said land is a very sensitive issue that might breed animosity among Kenyans.
During its sessions, the commission appointed to investigate the Tana clashes was told that unresolved land issues and resource-based disputes were some of the factors that could have led to the bloodshed and displacements of locals.
Any attempts to demarcate land in the region have always been resisted by the pastoralist community.
